Ads<\/strong><\/h2>\n

See the menu item “campaign finance” for the amount raised by the “yes” and “no” campaigns. As of Nov. 4, 2024, the ratio of “no” to “yes” money for advertising purposes was close to 40:1<\/p>\n

Yes Campaign: Until Oct. 31, 2024, there had been no ad campaign on the “yes” side. On Oct. 31, Steve Frias, an individual, released a video ad. In addition, on Oct. 29, the RI Republican Party tweeted its support for calling a convention, including a print ad, which doesn’t appear to have been used other than for that tweet.<\/p>\n

No Campaign: The “no” campaign launched its ad campaign during the summer of 2024. These have included radio ads, streaming media ads, text messaging ads, and mail. Most of these ads were targeted to specific audiences and this website has not had access to them.\u00a0 Instead, what is included below are print and video ads that were readily available either because they were posted on the “no” coalitions website, on social media such as Instagram, and\/or YouTube.<\/p>\n
